Wyoming Public Library has been chosen as a recipient of the Theisen’s More For Your Community Corporate Giving Grant Program.  The library received $1,146.74 for its Find a Seat at Wyoming Public Library project.  These funds will be used to replace and add additional chairs, beanbags and cushions in the library.

The library provides programing each week on early dismissal days, over 30 children attend each week. Students watch movies, use computers, iPads, access WIFI, play Wii, and play in the library.  Some of the funds will help to add additional seating for that program and to replace worn out seating.  The backroom of the library is used by individuals and groups to watch movies, hold meetings, and other recreational activities, extra seating will enhance that area.  In September the library designated a room for school age students to use the WIFI on their personal or school laptops, chairs will be purchased for this area.  Additional seating will be added to the main part of the library as well.
