Wyoming Public Library Easter Egg Hunt

The library is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt April 19th

Wyoming Public Library will be hosting a community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19 on the Calkins Square property at 1pm.  Children ages 10 and under can come to hunt for eggs, play games, win prizes, have a snack, and see the Easter Bunny.  Everyone is invited to enjoy an afternoon full of Easter fun!  The library will be using funds from the can fundraiser to help cover costs of the event.  Please remember to leave your empty cans and bottles at Wyoming Fire Station.  The library has used those funds to help cover cost of many children’s programs including the early dismissal programs, the Magician and a bike drawing last summer, and will be providing more programing and a bike drawing this summer.  The library also replace the DVD repair machine with those funds, the library currently has a collection of 800 DVDs and checks out over 200 DVDs each month.  The library uses the machine to keep the collection in good condition and does repair disc for the public and other libraries for $2.00 per disc.

If you would like to volunteer to help with the Easter Egg Hunt or donate please stop by the library or call Nikki Rushford at 488-3975.  Donations to the library are tax deductible.  The library is hoping for a huge turnout so mark your calendars and help make this a wonderful community event!
